Dermal Filler Pre-Treatment 

• Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours before treatment.
• Avoid blood thinners and supplements for 5–7 days (unless prescribed).
• Eat and hydrate before your appointment.
• No dental work, vaccines, or facial treatments for 2 weeks prior.
• Arrive with a clean face and no makeup.
• Inform your provider of cold sores, pregnancy, illness, or skin infections.

Dermal Filler Aftercare 

• Mild swelling, redness, tenderness, or bruising is normal and should resolve in a few days.
• Apply a cold compress for 10–15 minutes as needed during the first 24 hours.
• Avoid touching, rubbing, or massaging the treated area.
• No strenuous exercise, heat (saunas, hot tubs), or alcohol for 24–48 hours.
• Avoid makeup on the treated area for 12–24 hours.
• Sleep with your head elevated the first night.
• Avoid facial treatments or massages for 1 week.
